The annual recognition banquet will be held the evening of Thursday January 23rd. The dinner will be held at the same location as last year; the Royal Oaks Country Club. The price will be the same as last year, $25 per person. A table of 10 is $250. We had a great event last year and expect an even better event this year. WHAT: A FREE event where 12 Faith Leaders explain 12 points of the Scout Law from their Faith’s perspective. No registration required!

WHEN: Presidents Day, Feb 17, 2020 at 9-11 AM
WHY: A Scout is Reverent. A Scout is Reverent to God. A Scout is faithful in his/her religious duties and respects the convictions of others in matters of custom and religion. Come learn more about your personal Faith and the Faith of others.
WEAR: Please wear the complete formal uniform of your Scouting Program along with any Religious Emblems that you may have earned.
BAT is an interactive course designed for those Individuals and Units who are preparing for a high-adventure trek and for those interested in organizing first time backcountry activities for their Unit.
The course is titled “Leave the Trailer Behind!” and is directed towards Individuals and Units that want to introduce more backpacking to their annual program. This is a great opportunity as a Unit activity for new or seasoned backpackers or to prepare for future backpacking treks.
Two classroom sessions are followed by a weekend backpacking campout adventure. The course features information and instruction detailing trek preparation, crew dynamics, and techniques of backpacking - hiking, camping, and preparing meals on the trail.
First class Session will be held Wednesday February 12, 2020 at First United Methodist Church of Richardson. Read more.

A CELEBRATION OF SCOUTING The Circle Ten Council Annual Recognition Banquet
March 26, 2020 at the Plano Event Center 2000 East Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX 75074
Check-in begins at 5:45 p.m. Dinner/program begins at 6:30 p.m.
The Annual Recognition Banquet is held each year to recognize Eagle Scouts and the volunteers of the Circle Ten Council. The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Linus D. Wright 2019 Class of Eagle Scouts and the 2019 Silver Beaver Awards, the highest volunteer recognition presented on the council level.
2019 Eagle Scouts who register prior to February 15, 2020 will be guests of Circle Ten Council. 2019 Eagles who register after February 15th will pay a discounted price of $20.00, including the day of the event. Registration for guests will be $45 or $360 for a table of 8.
