Do a Good Turn Daily

Have you ever gone to bed hungry? Ever worried where your next meal will come from? Here in the US, we live in the wealthiest country in the world, although more people than you can imagine worry about food on a daily basis. Read more.

Scouting for Food

Getting involved is very simple; get an area assignement, pick the the bags, distribute the bags in your neighborhood and then pick up the filled bags and deliver them to the distribution center. A few hours work on two Saturdays will make a huge difference in our community and teach your scouts about service. Bags go out on Saturday Feb 8th and filled bags picked up on Saturday February 15th. More information.

Camp Cards!

The cards are a great bargain and are quite easy to sell. With just a little effort, your scouts can sell enough cards to pay for their summer camp.

Sales begin Feb. 18. You can sign up your unit here. Please do so by Feb. 11 so we can have your cards ready for pick-up Feb. 18 at Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church, 8525 Audelia Road, Dallas, 75238. Read more.

Schedule Friends of Scouting Presentations

About 28% of the funds needed to operate Circle Ten Council which includes the camps and the service centers, comes from the Friends of Scouting drive. Your unit's participation is a key element in raising the needed funds. If you have not scheduled a presentation to the parents in your unit, please do so today. A Court of Honor or Blue and Gold banquet is an excellent time to include this presentation. It will only take a few minutes to complete. You may schedule the event on-line
