Fireside Chats

Here is an opportunity to meet with the Council President, Commissioner and Scout Executive at one of our five upcoming fireside chats. You will be able to give feedback on items that are important to you and items that will impact our upcoming 2016-2020 Strategic Plan. Some of the topics will include camp improvements, adult leader training, unit and council finances, impacting more youth in our communities and whatever else may be on your mind. For Northern Trail the most convenient date is February 11th at Lover's Lane United Methodist Church, 9200 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas.

Camp Card Sales

This is a Risk Free Unit Sales project where all Scouts can earn their way to Camp, Philmont, other activities or simply support unit program or supply needs. Each Camp Card will sell for only $5.00 to the general public and will have multiple food, service and entertainment discounts for the customer to use throughout the year. Philmont Slots July 20, 2016

Crew 728 has a Philmont Crew for July 20, 2016 and is looking for a few good Venturers to participate. Openings for coed youth and adults are available. Boy Scout Leader Specific, Begins 3/18/2015

This course for adult leaders and parents in Boy Scout units. The course is open to all parents and leaders and is designed for leaders who work directly with boys. The class meets 3 times, March 18, 25 and April 1. This a great way for a parent to become familiar with how a Boy Scout Troop operates.

Backcountry Advanced Training

Course is filling, sign up today. Classroom session meets twice, 2/12/2015 and 2/19/2015. Campout 2/27-3/1 Camp Meisenbach at Clements Scout Ranch. Register today.

Wilderness First Aid

The ECSI Wilderness First Aid courses will be offered 2 more times before summer. The is the course designed by Philmont and is accepted by all BSA High Adventures Bases.
Dates: Mar 27-29, and Apr 24-26 Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
