If you are planning on attending Camporee, registration is now open! Please register your troop as soon as possible so our staff can better plan each activity. Our planning meetings continue every Wednesday evening up to Camporee, and you are welcome to attend. This is going to be a fantastic event at Camp Constantin, so we hope to see you there!

Merit Badge University March 18-20, 2016
The Alpha Epsilon Zeta chapter of Alpha Phi Omega is hosting a Merit Badge University at the University of Texas at Dallas on April 9th, 2016. It will be from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, and will have two class sessions. Boy scouts and adult leaders are welcome. There will be a morning and an afternoon class, and you are welcome to attend one or both of them. To register, please fill out this form. 2016 Annual Recognition Banquet, Thursday April 7 Corrected date
Our own Donna Robinson will receive the Silver Beaver, come and celebrate with her. All of the scouts who attained the Eagle rank in 2015 will be recognized. CampMaster has opened registration for the Circle Ten Council Annual Recognition Banquet.

Venturing Rendezvous is a weekend of fun activities for co-ed youth ages 14 to 21. Troops, bring your scouts graduating 8th grade or older for a new expereince. Check out the promo video from last year here. Come for the day on Saturday, April 9th or camp for the weekend, April 8-10. Located at Circle Ten Council's Camp Wisdom.
$25 per youth and adult attending if registered and paid by 11:59p.m. Friday, April 1st. $35 at the door. Pre-registration closes at midnight on April 1, 2016.

This course for adult leaders in Boy Scout units. Leaders who work directly with boys in a unit should attend. This course will teach you about organization, operation, outdoor program and role of the adult leader in a troop. The class meets 2 times. Continue reading
Learn by doing. Participate in an actual Boy Scout weekend campout. You will learn first-hand how a Boy Scout Troop operates in the field. Great fun and informative. This course is taught in conjunction with the 2 classroom sessions offered a few weeks earlier. It's is strongly recommended that you participate in both. Advance preparation and signup required. Face to Face YPT Training
Council-sponsored Texas Camp Code Facilitated Adult YPT is planned for each Wednesday in April in preparation for the upcoming camping season. Each session will run from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Registration is required via CampMaster All sessions will close to registration at midnight on the Monday prior to the session. More information
BALOO training is an introduction to the Cub Scout outdoor program. BSA’s Cub Scout level camping policies will be taught along with the necessary tools to help units carry out a successful camping experience.
BSA requires that at least one adult on a Pack overnighter be BALOO trained. Webelos Den Leaders camping as a den must be BALOO trained. Continue Reading
The 2016 campaign is progressing well and many units have already had their presentations. However there are few units who have not yet scheduled their presentation. Please take a moment schedule a time for a presenter to come to your Court of Honor or Blue and Gold Banquet and make a short presentation about Friends of Scouting. National Youth Leadership Training is an intense, 5 ½ day, outdoor leadership training experience for youth troop, team and crew leaders.
