Twilight Camp, Cub Scout Fun

Twilight Camp T-Shirts -- T-Shirt pickup is done by pack and will be held on May 31st from 7PM to 9PM at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Richardson in the Founder's Hall. This is at 421 Custer Rd (between Arapaho and Beltline). Map. Please send one person from the pack to pick up the T-Shirts and then distribute them to those who are coming to Twilight Camp. Paperwork and money can be dropped off at this time as well. If your pack is unable to attend, please contact Barbara Richer to make arrangements to pick up the shirts prior to camp.
Twilight Camp Information -- June 10-14, 2013 Breckinridge Park, Cub Scout Fun. Registration for Twilight Camp Walking Den Leader Training now available. Don't forget you will need Face-to-Face Youth Protection Training. Camp Registration is also available.
Boy Scout Roundtable / Face to Face YPT -- June 11, 2013, 7:30PM FUMC Richardson. Please register in advance for Face to Face Training.
Twilight Camp Staff Needed -- Come and help at Twilight Camp! We are looking for a camp medic, program staff and range staff as well as someone to help with Logistics. Logistics is the person who delivers the supplies to the program areas before camp and picks them up at the end of camp each day. That person also makes sure that each area has water during camp. We will assign a strong teenager to assist so you would not need to do the heavy lifting. Contact Barbara Richer at 214-478-3972 for details of specific responsibilities.. More information.

Passing of Stan Wilson -- We are saddened to report the loss of Stan Wilson who was a member of Troop 890. He will be sorely missed.

Philmont Trek Openings -- Troop 444 from Arapaho United Methodist Church in Richardson has a trek going to Philmont this summer, from July 4 through July 18. They have open spaces on their crew. If you or someone you know of is interested in joining them, please contact Bill Harris at or Jeff Kort at
Philmont Trek Needs --Troop 895 is looking for some trek openings for 2014. If you have some spaces that might be available next summer, please keep us in mind. Please contact Theresa Kaualoku 469-471-2446 or if you think you will have spaces.


Scouts Deserve Trained Leaders -- Get trained and you will not only better understand the program, you will accomplish more with less effort. Training is for all parents, not just the front line leadership. If you are trained, you can better help your child advance in the program.
