Northern Trail to Adventure Saturday October 11th.
Hurry! This event is this coming Saturday. Please sign up ASAP so we know how many to expect. Great Cub Scout fun for the whole family. Camp Wisdom is an easy 35 minute drive.
All activities take place on Saturday. Packs are invited to spend the night in the camp area. Archery, BB guns, Caves, Rope Bridge, Sir Dee Castle, Trading Post, Pirate Ships, Campfire, and much more. It's a come and go event, so you can spend as little or as much time as you can. Boy Scout Outdoor Leader Skills Training. Learn by participating in a scout campout. Advance preparation required.
This course is designed to help Webelos leaders enhance the outdoor program for the Webelos Scouts in their den by teaching some basic outdoor skills as well as skills needed to complete many of the Webelos activity badges. This course can be taught as a stand-alone experience but is often presented in conjunction with Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS).
This one day course is designed as an introduction to the Cub Scout outdoor program for those leaders who are interested in adding a camping component to their Pack activities. BALOO is an instructor-led course which is conducted at the Council level. BSA's Cub Scout level camping policies will be taught along with the necessary tools to help units carry out a successful camping experience.
Oak Leaf is a junior leader experience designed to supplement Troop level training and prepare Scouts for NYLT (National Youth Leadership Training).
Webelos Woods is district-organized event that culminates in a weekend of fun outdoor activities with the intent of providing opportunities for advancement and to aid with the Webelos-to-Scout transition. Webelos and their adult partner will get an interactive preview of the Boy Scouting program through a series of fun-filled activities accentuating the scouting experience. More information
