Thank You !
With the Thanksgiving holiday upon us, we would like to take the opportunity to thank the countless volunteers in Northern Trail who work tirelessly to make the scouting program a success. Parents who are supportive of the program with their time, energy and money are essential to the success of the program. Within this team are the den leaders, Cub Masters, Scoutmasters, Crew Advisors, Commissioners and District volunteers who work so hard to make the program a success. Without you, the program could not function. We also want to thank the professional scouters, who have chosen commit their life's work to this program.
Again, thanks for your continued service to our youth.
Keep the Home Fires Burning -- Training
Scouts love a campfire and the essential ingredients of a campfire include tender, kindling, oxygen, spark and fuel. Your commitment to be trained in your specific role is the spark to the tender and kindling that keeps the fires of adult leadership burning brightly within your unit. Wood Badge, supplemental training, University of Scouting and Philmont Training Center courses are the fuel logs that will continually stoke the fire. Ok and the oxygen—the District Training Team for Northern Trail, fanning the flames and keeping you up to date on opportunities for training through the website and newsletter. Read more.
Scouters: Please submit photos of your Scouting Leaders for our District Banquet slide show. We will be honoring you, the volunteers, that make Northern Trail, the Troops, Packs, Dens, and Crews, a great organization that builds young people into leaders! Send the photos to email@example.com
