Holiday Roundtables

Our December Roundtables will be a joint meeting with a Holiday Season party theme, and to make it more fun, we will have a dessert contest. So, please bring your favorite dessert, made by you or someone in your Pack, Troop or Crew, that's appropriate for a Scout meeting or Campout. We will provide plasticware, paper plates, and napkins. Please if you have not nominated someone from your unit for an award, please do so immediately. These individuals will be recognized at the District Awards Banquet in January.

University of Scouting, Saturday January 5, 2019

Registration closes soon! The University of Scouting is a great learning opportunity. This year everyone will participate in a morning session dedicated to the changes to the program and an opportunity to ask questions. It will be held at Southern Methodist University. Northern Trail District Awards Dinner

Save the Date: Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Royal Oaks Country Club, 7915 Greenville Ave, Dallas. Check in 6:30 Dinner at 7PM. Our speaker will be Dr. Jeannie Stone, Ed.D., Superintendent of RISD. Scott Thompson is preparing a year in review slide show and requests that units send about a dozen of their best photos from district events to him to include in program. Scouting For Food 2019

Save the dates, Scouting for Food, Saturday February 16th, 2019 put out flyers, pickup food Saturday February 23, 2019. There are so many people in our community that rely on this annual do a good turn daily service to feed their families. Please attend and let’s make this the biggest SFF haul ever!

Youth Protection Training This means you!

Wilderness First Aid classes for 2018-2019

Range Safety Officer Certification

If you are interested in becoming an NRA Certified Instructor or Range Safety Officer to run shooting sports, the council holds instructor courses on a regular basis. More information: c10shootingsports.org.
