Please, this is separate from the re-charter process. We just need a simple unit roster of adults and scouts emailed or faxed our district executive. Email your list to Jesus Vazquez at or fax the list to 214.902.6797.   

Re-Charter Time Time is running out!

It's re-charter time. Every unit must recharter by the end of December.

If you are responsible for the re-charter process, help is available! Your unit commissioner is standing by to answer any questions you may have. If you don't know who your unit commissioner is, consult the website To help you with this process we have prepared a checklist which includes all the steps required.

Y.E.S. Awards Nominations, Extended to December 15th

December 15 is the final date to get your Y.E.S. award nominations; All nominates will be recognized at the Northern District Banquet, January 21, 2016. Every unit in the district should make nominations of those who have make a special contribution to their unit in the last years. On-line form may be found here for information and the online nomination form. Committee Chair or unit leader should see that your unit has their nomination in for this year.

Schedule Friends of Scouting Presentation

Please take a moment schedule a time for a presenter to come to your Court of Honor or Blue and Gold Banquet and make a short presentation about Friends of Scouting. If you have questions contact: Jesus Vazquez

Mark your Calendar January 16, 2016

Arapaho Chapter will host a program day on Saturday January 16th at FUMC of Richardson. Merit badge classes and some adult training will be offered. A list of offerings will be posted soon.

University of Scouting Save the date, January 23, 2016

The University of Scouting is an adult leader's learning adventure! It is an action-packed, fun-filled single day of supplemental training where you choose the sessions you wish to take. Sessions are led by experienced volunteers and professionals who will help you enhance your ability to deliver a fun and exciting program to the Scouts. Winter Wood Badge

It will soon be time for Circle 10's Winter Wood Badge ... WB 116 at Camp Wisdom. Better get your position specific training down quickly, and then register for WB 116 while you still can.

NASCAR Tickets Available - $10 tickets to 2016 NASCAR races

Texas Motor Speedway was excited to have the Circle Ten Scouts out for CTX 2015 in November. As an added benefit for being a participant, Texas Motor Speedway is offering all Scouts and their families an opportunity to attend one of their 2016 race events for just $10. That is a huge discount only available to the Scouts of Circle Ten.

Winter Camp – December 27 - 31, 2015

National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)

National Youth Leadership Training is an intense, 5 ½ day, outdoor leadership training experience for youth troop, team and crew leaders.
